M37 Messier 37 open star cluster

Description

This is an open star cluster Messier 37. It is about 4500 light years from us, and contains more than 500 relatively young stars, aged about 350 to 550 million years. It has a total mass of more than 1500 of our Sun’s mass. This picture was taken with a Canon EOS 600D camera attached to a telescope, with exposure time of 25 seconds and ISO 3200.
